  • Cape Tribulation

The Daintree Rainforest is home to an abundance of life, including 430 birds and 50 species of frogs.  Here you may also find the Lumholtz Tree kangaroo and the cassowary.

Cape Tribulation beach is the only area on Earth where the Rainforest meets the Reef.   This region is World Heritage-listed.

This tour is a small personalised group with a few other people.  This excursion departs from Port Douglas every day and lasts around eight hours.

Mossman Gorge

We begin our journey at Mossman Gorge, starting with tea, coffee, or cold beverage before venturing into Mossman Gorge.

A visit to Mossman Gorge is like taking a seat on Mother Nature’s lap after 135 million years of creation.

Within the World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park, Mossman Gorge is a must-do for visitors and locals alike.

To see the crystal clear rock pools in a tropical setting is an experience you will want to capture, so have your camera ready.

Daintree River Cruise

Next, hop on board the Daintree River Cruise.
Here we join solar-powered electric boat for one-hour tour, where we can choose from various meals.
Along the Daintree River, there are fantastic opportunities to spot wildlife and birds.
During this tour, keep an eye out for crocodiles sunning along the river banks.

Daintree River Ferry

Once you get to Daintree River, we drive onboard the Daintree River vehicle ferry across to the historic Daintree Rainforest.

Mount Alexander Lookout

Alexandra lookout
Next, take in the views from Mount Alexander Lookout, including the Daintree River and the Coral Sea.
Next, enjoy guided botanical walk through the Rainforest, where we learn more about the beautiful biodiversity of the area.  From this lookout, you can also see Snapper Island and Low Isles.

Cape Tribulation

Thirty-five kilometres north of the Daintree River is the beautiful Cape Tribulation.  World-famous for where the Rainforest meets the Reef.

Admire the natural sculptures created by driftwood and shells along the deserted beaches.

A guided walk will explain the complexities of this ancient ecology and introduce you to the peppermint stick insect or Boyd’s forest dragon.

Kulki Lookout

The Kulki Lookout is at Cape Tribulation.  Enjoy the .8 kilometre walk to see the Rainforest and the Reef all at once.
Visitors can often see turtles and dugongs in the nearby Coral Sea.  Keep an eye out for Tree kangaroos and cassowaries.
Kuilki Lookout is suitable for wheelchairs with some assistance.

Daintree Rainforest Icecream Company

Daintree Icecream Company

Flavours will depend on the season and which of their fruits are available.
